Implementation of Sexual and Reproductive Health Programs

Visual materials for education

Visual educational materials are a unique way to communicate with users of the health system. Effective materials provide important health information in a format that is easy to understand and appropriate for the cultural context in which it is being used. The best materials add to the user's knowledge and motivate them to change their behavior. These tools were designed to complement the training given to health personnel with the aim of guiding their discussions about family planning with users in three indigenous communities in Panama. Visual aids include brochures of several modern methods of contraception. These materials can be packaged together to create a flipchart or a book
