  • This document describes the Teacher Competence Development Program generated in the facilitators teams of the four Sanitary Jurisdictions of San Cristobal de las Casas, Pichucalco, Palenque and Ocosingo in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. This document also includes a section on the methodology used for the conformation of CONE networks in Chiapas and the process of certification of the participants. Attached as a properly organized annex is the set of resources and support materials used in the process and also those that will be used during replications at the operational level.

Although these tools are described in this document, they are prepared in separate formats for later use and are available later in this module. The document provides guidance on how to develop a training workshop, providing sample agendas, examples of workshop exercises, a list of external materials, and monitoring and evaluation materials.

  • This document is an example of an implementation plan for a family planning counseling model. The document describes the five steps necessary for the implementation of a successful counseling model and contains a section on supervision and monitoring and evaluation with examples of performance indicators for the implementation of the model. The document details the different stages of the execution of the model: Awareness and approval of the model, preparation, training, implementation and, finally, supervision and monitoring and evaluation. This document deepens the activities at each stage, at what level of the health care system the activity should be carried out and who is responsible for its execution.

  • In six chapters, the guide describes the steps to provide successful and effective contraceptive counseling to the population of Chiapas. This guide is aimed at providers of contraceptive counseling services immersed in the multicultural context of the state of Chiapas and will help ensure that it is carried out systematically, with technical quality, culturally accessible and effectively. In this way, respect for sexual and reproductive rights is guaranteed, in order to decide freely and voluntarily the use or not of contraceptive methods.
