Implementation of Sexual and Reproductive Health Programs for Adolescents

This national methodological guide has been prepared by the Comprehensive Health Care Unit for Adolescents Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance of El Salvador. The content of the document is guiding the guidelines that should be applied to the organization of educational circles as a methodological strategy and on the role, abilities and skills of service providers that facilitate the conduction of learning. The document provides health service providers with technical-methodological guidelines that allow them to implement the Educational Model "Educational Circles for Pregnant Adolescents".

This document serves as a national guide for authorities of the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance of El Salvador. This guide is aimed at health professionals who are directly related to adolescents, so that they have a guide that facilitates the development of counseling and provides basic elements to respond to the needs of adolescents and with it achieve a closer approach to this population.
